|Airdate||April 3, 2017|
The 42nd episode in The Rosen Family Chronicles, also 256Pi's entry to NoiceDrinkz's Cinematic Rosen Collab. Watch it here.
Michael, Older Rosen, and Richard star in a scene which is a direct parody of the car chase scene from Bullitt, directed by Mervin who wanted to do it for fun. The scene plays out normally at first, Michael (playing the role of Frank Bullitt from the movie) sees Older and Richard (playing the roles of the hitmen from the movie) from across a parking lot in front of their 1968 Dodge Charger, gets in his 1968 Ford Mustang and follows them, and a chase ensues. Once Richard (the driver) notices Michael, a few seconds later he floors it and makes the car go flying. Michael chases him, although stops for people to cross at a red light (somehow without losing ground on them). He bounces off a bunch of bikers that happened to be in the area, and ends up in a nearby ditch by the side of the road. Older and Richard celebrate having gotten Michael off their tails, but Michael pulls the car out and continues to follow them. They are overtaken by a whole bunch of cars that are going way faster than them for whatever reason (as well as a moonwalking car driven by Michael Jackson), but they continue on. Older Rosen gets the idea to throw a chocolate cake at Michael, and does so, smearing his windshield and making it impossible for him to see. Michael reacts accordingly and bumps into Older and Richard's car, knocking it off the road and into a nearby gas station, which explodes (although unlike in the movie, Older and Richard survive the crash albeit a bit burnt), and Older Rosen laments the loss of his chocolate cake. The scene finishes screening, with Michael, Brian, Older Rosen and Mervin watching, the latter excited to hear Michael's reaction. Michael remarks the whole thing was a waste of time, and Mervin looks visibly disappointed.
